Willie Mae Smith

Willie Mae Smith, 79, beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. She was born on April 25, 1945, in Monroe County, MS.

Willie Mae will be lovingly remembered by her surviving family and friends: her sons John Smith and James Pargo, Jr.; daughters Bennie Smith, Patricia Pargo, Annie Gates, and Lisa Pargo; and brothers Robert Smith, Henry Smith, and Ben Smith.

She was preceded in death by her father Herman Edwards and mother Willie Bell Smith.

The viewing for Willie Mae will take place on Saturday, May 4, 2024, (FAMILY ONLY) from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Belle Memorial Funeral Home in Aberdeen, MS.       A visitation will follow on Sunday, May 5th from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Spring Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Aberdeen. The funeral service will be held at the same location on Sunday, May 5th starting at 1:00 PM.

Willie Mae Smith's warm presence and kind spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace knowing she was cherished by many.
