Family and Friends, I am resting in my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Don't you worry; I am free from all pain and suffering.

On May 24, 1932, I made an entrance into this earthly life. I was born in Monroe County to Mr. Willie D. Hodges and Mrs. Elizabeth Gladney Hodges. I served on the Mothers Board and the Broadcast Ministry. I loved my Pastor and my Church Family especially the children.

I joined in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Lee White who preceded me in death. This union brought me four of the most precious daughters I could have asked for Larthia (Charlie) James; Wyoming, MI, Yvonne (Fad Jr.) Robinson; Aberdeen, MS, Annie (Eddie) Buchanan of Aberdeen,MS and one of my precious daughters preceded me in death Denise(Herbert) Whitfield of Grand Rapids, MI. I also had the pleasure of raising my granddaughter Felicia(Vincent) Deavens of Aberdeen,MS and my niece, Barbara Vasser, nephews, Darnell (Loretta) Hodges, Rodney and Glenn Hodges. I later married Willie L. Long who also preceded me in death.

I leave to cherish so many memories with 18 grandchildren, 53 great grands, 13 great-great grands and 1 great-great-great grand.

I was the eldest daughter of six children who all preceded me in death; Wavery C. (Mabelean)Hodges, Nathan D.(Vernell)Hodges, Robert L. Hodges, Annie L. Hodges, and Jimmie L. Hodges. Also, I leave to cherish my memories on step-sister; Gloria McGee of Aberdeen,MS.

My earthly life came to a close on February 20,2012. God reached out HIS hand and led me to my Heavenly home.

Family always remember John 3:16__ "For God so loved the world the HE gave HIS only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in HIM shall not perish but have everlasting life."
