Warren Earl Myles, Sr., 68, was born on June 30, 1958, in Jackson, Hinds County, Mississippi, and passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at North Mississippi Medical Center Gilmore in Amory, Mississippi. He lived a life marked by service, strength, and devotion to those he loved.

Mr. Myles served his country with honor in the United States Army, attaining the rank of E5. His military service reflected dedication and commitment, and he was recognized with numerous commendations and awards, including the Kuwait Liberation Medal K, Kuwait Liberation Medal SA, Expert Marksman distinction, the Army Achievement Medal, four Good Conduct Medals, the National Defense Service Medal, the Southwest Asia Service Medal with three Bronze Stars, the NCO Professional Development Ribbon, the Army Service Ribbon, and the Overseas Service Ribbon. His record of service stands as a lasting testament to his discipline, courage, and patriotism.

He was preceded in death by his father, Amos Lee Myles, and one brother, Eddie Lee Myles

Warren leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Dorris Jean Brown-Myles; his son, Warren (Salena) Myles, Jr.; Two granddaughters, Mya and May Myles. Two brothers, Runnie Myles, Sr. and James Myles; his nephew, Runnie Myles, Jr.; His niece, Delores Danielle; plus two brothers from his father's side, Amos Funches and Amos Trimble; 4 sisters, Arteria Trimble, Colleen Trimble, Lakeisha Trimble, and Andrea Funches; along with friends, fellow veterans, former MARTA colleagues, and the many people whose lives he touched.  In their love and remembrance, his life continues to be honored and carried forward. He will be remembered with deep affection by his family and by all who knew him.

The viewing for Mr. Myles will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Myles Place, located in Amory, Mississippi 38821. A graveside service will follow at 10:00 a.m. at Myles Place, with burial also taking place there.

May his memory bring comfort to his family and peace to all who remember him.
