Virgie Lee Gettys, 78 of Aberdeen, MS died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012 at his home on Egypt Road.
He was a member of New Hebron M. B. Church
Services will be held Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012 at New Hebron M.B. Church at 3:00 p.m.
Visitation will be 2-3 p.m. at New Hebron M.B. Church Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012
He is survived by his mother, Emma Roberson, 2 sons, Calvin Virgie Gettys of Cleveland, TN and Carlos Gettys of Houston, MS., 6 daughters, Elaine Ware and Barbara Page of Aberdeen, Doris Poe of Okolona, MS, Emma Gettys of Tupelo, MS Arlene Roberson of South Carolina, and Pauline Wright of Westpoint, MS, 1 sister, Eva Jacobs of Atlanta, Ga, 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Burial will follow in the New Hebron Church Cemetery
