Tyrone Deon Johnson, Sr., 51, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2026, in Aberdeen, Monroe County, Mississippi. Born on August 29, 1974, in Okolona, Chickasaw County, Mississippi, Tyrone's journey through life was marked by deep connections with family and a legacy that will endure through all who knew and loved him.

Tyrone was the beloved son of Claude Johnson (Father) and Ada Bell Johnson (Mother), who survive him and carry forth his memory with abiding love. Throughout his life, Tyrone was known for his commitment to his family, a devotion reflected in the children who mourn his passing and celebrate his legacy: his Sons: Devontae Fudge,Tywon Johnson and Trentice Hughes; his Daughters: Reneisha Cannon, Shonkhia Hughes, and Talyhia Butler. They each grieve the profound loss of their father, whose presence and guidance have been cherished constants in their lives.

Tyrone also endured the sorrows life brings, and he is preceded in death by his son, Tyrone Deon Johnson, Jr. The bond of father and son, though parted by death, remains a testament to Tyrone’s steadfast love and paternal spirit.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, August 16, 2026, beginning at 12:00 PM at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 20622 Egypt Road, Aberdeen, Mississippi. Following the service, burial will take place at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, 515 MS Hwy 8 West, Aberdeen, Mississippi.
