Tyrone Deon Johnson, Jr., 31, affectionately known as "Snoop," passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2026, in Woodland, Clay County, Mississippi. Born on May 6, 1994, in Amory, Monroe County, Mississippi, Tyrone was a devoted family man and a dedicated professional who worked as a driver for Murrow Trucking. His life was marked by his commitment to both his career and his loved ones.
Tyrone was a beloved son, husband, father, brother, and friend. He is survived by his father, Tyrone Johnson, and his mother, Gwendolyn Peterson; his wife, Shquentin Moore; his son, Austin Johnson; and his daughter, Rhyia Moore. He also leaves behind a large and loving family comprised of his brothers Jeffrey Peterson, Jataviuse Peterson, Devonta Fudge, Tywon Johnson, and Trent Hughes; and his sisters Tara Peterson, Deonitsy Peterson, Reneishia Cannon, and Shonkhia Hughes. Their bonds were a source of strength and joy throughout his life.
Tyrone experienced the profound loss of his daughter Faith Johnson, whose memory continues to be cherished deeply by all who knew her.
The community will honor Tyrone's memory with a series of services held at Belle Memorial Funeral Home, located at 216 Hwy 25 South, PO Box 129, Aberdeen, MS. There will be a visitation on Friday, May 1, 2026, beginning at 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. (FAMILY), followed by an additional visitation from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (PUBLIC). The celebration of his life will take place the next day, Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 20622 Egypt Road, Aberdeen, MS, starting at 2:00 p.m.
Tyrone’s passing leaves a profound void in the lives of those who knew him, yet his spirit and the memories he created will endure with family, friends, and all who were touched by his warm and genuine character. His legacy is one of unwavering dedication to his family and his work, embodying the values of love, resilience, and kindness.
With deepest respect, we remember Tyrone Deon Johnson, Jr., a cherished soul whose journey, though too brief, was rich with love and the steadfast bonds of family. May he rest in peace.
