Timothy James Walker

Timothy James Walker, 57, born on April 27, 1969, in Aberdeen, Monroe County, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at Saint Francis Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. His passing is deeply felt by all who knew him and by the communities he touched throughout his life.

Timothy’s journey began in Aberdeen, where he formed the foundation of the hard-working and caring man he would become. His pride in his roots remained an integral part of his character, influencing his relationships and work ethic. Timothy "Tim" was the beloved child of Stanley Clay and Mary Gail Roberson. 

A dedicated member of the workforce, Timothy contributed his skills and dedication as an assembly worker at United Furniture. His colleagues remember his steadfast commitment to his craft, his willingness to lend a hand, and the respect with which he treated everyone around him.

He graduated from Aberdeen High School with the Class of 1987. He played in the school band as a drummer. Timothy’s legacy is evident in the impression he left on peers, friends, and acquaintances alike. His presence was a testament to integrity, resilience, and quiet kindness.

He is survived by his mother, Gail Roberson; 2 sons: Jordan Yeager and James Candy; 7 brothers: Marcus Waters, Charles "Derek" Roberson, Sr., Jason Roberson, Sr., Anthony Gunn, Stanley Clay, Jr., Justin McGee, and Bryan Hundere; 3 sisters: Julita Clay, Stanika Clay, and Justine McGee.  He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley Clay, Sr.

To honor Timothy’s life, friends, coworkers, and those whose paths crossed his are invited to attend services at Belle Memorial Funeral Home, located at 216 Hwy 25 South, Aberdeen, MS. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life beginning at 1:00 PM at the same location.

Timothy James Walker will be remembered for his strength of character and the steady grace with which he approached life. His absence will be deeply felt, but his example and memory will remain with all who had the privilege of knowing him.
