Tammy Jean Holliday

Tammy Jean Holliday, 57, born on June 26, 1968, in Aberdeen, Monroe County, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 1, 2026, at the University of Chicago Medicine Advent Health Hinsdale Hospital in Aurora, Illinois. A devoted City Worker for the City of Chicago, Tammy's contributions to her community were marked by her dedication and passion for public service.

Tammy's life was enriched by the love and support of her family. She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Holliday, and her mother, Mary Lenoir. The legacy that Tammy leaves behind is one of compassion, hard work, and unwavering commitment to the betterment of her surroundings and those within her community.

Her friends and colleagues will remember her for her kindness and the positive impact she had on many lives throughout her career.

A visitation to honor Tammy's memory will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Belle Memorial Funeral Home, located at 216 Hwy 25 South, PO Box 129, Aberdeen, MS 39730. Following this, a Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, January 17, 2026, starting at 1:00 PM at Pleasant Plain Missionary Baptist Church, situated at 198 County Road 184, Prairie, MS 39756.

Tammy's spirit will be cherished by her entire community as she is remembered fondly for her unwavering dedication and the many lives she touched.
