Steven P. Brownlee

Steven P. Brownlee, beloved husband, father and friend passed away on May 9, 2023 in North MS Medical Center.

Born on December 17, 1961 in Vardaman, MS, Steven was one of three brothers born to his parents. He worked at Franklin Corporation in Houston, MS for 43 years where he developed impressive carpentry skills that he used to build anything.

Steven was known by many for his kind and humorous personality. He loved to work and enjoyed spending time gardening during his leisure hours. Steven always had a smile on his face and a heart full of love for everyone around him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Joy Hervey; three sons, Christopher Brownlee, Toyle Scott Sr., and Lemar Brownlee; daughter Jasmine Brownlee; and two brothers James Earl Brownlee and James Kerry Brownlee. Steven was preceded in death by Cathy Vance, his sister.

To honor the life of Steven P. Brownlee, visitation will be held on May 19th from 4 pm until 6 pm at Belle Memorial Funeral Home - Bruce located at 138 E Washington St in Bruce. A funeral service will take place at Midway M.B. Church- Vardaman, MS located at 47 Co Rd 460 Calhoun City on May 20th at 11am 

Steven's family would like to express their gratitude to everyone who has reached out with their condolences during this difficult time. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him but the memories of his kindness and joyous spirit will live on forever.
