​He is survived by three sons, Staten, Leaundra, and Vincent Coggins, one daughter, Wanda Coggins Gunn, four brothers, Jessie, Willie, Robert, and Elmer Coggins, two sisters, Willie Mae Collins and Barbara Davis, 15 grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren
