Ricky Junior Gilleylen

Ricky Junior Gilleylen, 60, born on April 16, 1965, in Aberdeen, Monroe County, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 12, 2026, in New Hope, Hennepin County, Minnesota. He leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of hard work and dedication, which defined both his career as a mechanic and his approach to life.

Ricky is lovingly remembered by his 3 sons: Morica Dewayne Wright, Michael Wright, and Ricky Rashaud, Clay; One Sister: Elizabeth (Frank) Hatch; Five Brothers: Don Gilleylen, Lester Gilleylen, Gregory (Cheryl) Daniel, Karl Gilleylen, and Dale (Joyce) Gilleylen; One Aunt: Yvonne Daniel; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert James Gilleylen and Annie Louise Daniel, who instilled in him the values of perseverance and determination. He was also preceded in death by 1 Brother: Dexter Gilleylen; and 1 Sister: Neilette Gilleylen.

Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Friday, February 27, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Belle Memorial Funeral Home, located at 216 Hwy 25 South, PO Box 129 in Aberdeen, MS. A graveside service will follow on Saturday, February 28, 2026, beginning at 1:00 PM at Burns Memorial Gardens, situated at 50013 Burns Cemetery Road, also in the Athens Community of Aberdeen, MS.

Ricky Junior Gilleylen will be dearly missed by those who knew him, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of his loved ones.
