Olajuwon "Wonny" Dismukes

Olajuwon Dismukes, 41, known affectionately as "Wonny," passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. He was born on June 28, 1982, in West Point, Clay County, MS.

The services to honor and celebrate Olajuwon's life will begin with a Visitation on Friday, April 5, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Belle Memorial Funeral Home in Aberdeen, MS. The Funeral Service will follow on  Saturday,April 6, 2024, starting at 11:00 AM at Northside Christian Church in West Point, MS.

Olajuwon will be remembered fondly by his surviving family members: his father, William Henry Dismukes and mother, Christine Hodges Dismukes. He is also survived by his loving wife Tishena Nicole Dismukes; his children Ryan Watkin and Shania Hoskins; as well as his brother, Daryl (Alisha) Dismukes and sister, Ebony (Jeremy) Goins.

During his time with us, Olajuwon touched the lives of many with his kindness and generosity. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
