Mikel Lynn Mister, 63, born on May 13, 1962, unto the union of David Mister and Emmer Jean McKinney Mister, in Grenada, Grenada County, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at Diversicare in Amory, Mississippi. He was a cherished individual whose presence left a lasting impact on those who knew him.

In honor of Mikel's memory, visitation will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Midway Missionary Baptist Church, located at 47 County Road 454, Vardaman, Mississippi. Following the visitation, a Celebration of Life service will take place at the same location beginning at 12:00 p.m., providing an opportunity for all who loved Mikel to gather, share memories, and pay their respects.
