Michael Leon Thomas

Michael Leon Thomas, 60, born on July 18, 1965, in Chicago, IL, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital ~ GT in Columbus, Mississippi. He was a beloved son, and his memory will be cherished by all who knew him.

Michael is survived by four brothers: Pastor Danny L. Jenkins, Pastor Larry Jenkins, Daniel Lewis, and Edward Thomas; one sister: Brenda Watson. 

Michael was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Thomas, and his mother, Rosell Thomas. Their love and guidance shaped him into the man he became, and he carried their legacy in his heart throughout his life. He is also preceded in death by one brother: Glenn Thomas.

A Life Celebration service to honor Michael's life will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Belle Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, located at 216 Hwy 25 South, in Aberdeen. The service will commence at 2:00 PM, with a time for remembrance and reflection. 

Michael's spirit will be remembered by the community he served and loved, and he will be deeply missed by those fortunate enough to have shared in his life. His kindness, wisdom, and warmth will continue to inspire others as they carry forward his cherished memories.
