Born on October 8, 1957, in Amory, MS, Michael grew up surrounded by the beauty of the southern countryside. From an early age, he displayed an entrepreneurial spirit and a fierce determination to succeed. After completing his education, Michael embarked on a journey that would define his life's work.
Michael found his true calling as an entrepreneur and established his own striping, sealing, and paving business in Memphis. His commitment to excellence made him well-respected in the industry. Through his hard work and dedication, Michael built a successful business that served countless clients throughout the community. His attention to detail and unwavering commitment to quality placed him ahead of the competition.
While Michael found fulfillment in his professional pursuits, it was his role as a father that brought him the greatest joy. He leaves behind three children who will forever cherish the memories they shared with their loving father. Dennis Brownlee was not only fortunate to call him dad but also considered him a mentor and best friend. Chaznee Barnett and Ronesha McIntosh will remember their father's unwavering love and support throughout their lives.
Family held great importance in Michael's life. He was fortunate to have shared incredible bonds with his siblings. His brothers Maurice McIntosh, Larry Sanders, Jimmy McIntosh, and sisters Brenda McIntosh and Lisa Anderson Brownlee were not only family but also trusted confidants. Together they created lasting memories filled with laughter and shared experiences.
As a veteran of the US Army, Michael proudly served his country with honor and selflessness. His military service reflected his deep patriotism and dedication to protecting others. The discipline he acquired during this time translated into a disciplined and principled approach to his personal and professional life.
Beyond his work and military service, Michael had a passion for golf. He loved participating in tournaments, relishing the opportunity to compete with friends and fellow golf enthusiasts. His love for the game brought him joy and camaraderie.
Friends and loved ones will gather to pay their respects to Michael at Belle Memorial Funeral Home in Aberdeen, MS. The visitation will take place on August 4, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow on August 5, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., also at Belle Memorial Funeral Home. It is an opportunity for all who knew him to honor his memory and celebrate a life well-lived.
