Throughout his life, Melbee exemplified strength, wisdom, and kindness. Raised in Mississippi, he carried with him the values and traditions of his birthplace, sharing them generously with his family and community. His presence was a source of comfort and guidance, a steady foundation for his loved ones.
Melbee is survived by his son, Robert C. Webb, and his daughters Jennifer Webb, Latasha Webb, Annie Webb, Barbara Webb, Michelle Webb, and Debra Drake. His immediate family holds close the memories of his devotion, support, and love. His role as a father was marked by unwavering dedication and the quiet assurance that he would always be there.
Family, friends, and all who admired Melbee are invited to honor his life through two forthcoming services. A visitation will take place on Friday, April 3, 2026, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Belle Memorial Funeral Home, located at 216 Hwy 25 South, PO Box 129, Aberdeen, Mississippi. Following this, a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026, beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Union Missionary Baptist Church, 16170 Hwy 47 in Prairie, Mississippi.
