Mary F. Hearn, 71, affectionately known as Annie Mary Hearn, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi. Born on October 30, 1954, in Aberdeen, Monroe County, Mississippi, Mary embodied the spirit of care and compassion throughout her life, dedicating herself to her career as a caretaker.
Mary's legacy is one of deep familial bonds and unwavering support. She is survived by her beloved daughters, Kadijah Hearn of Verona, MS, Nickie (Billy) Johnson of Verona, MS, and Tavonna Ashley of Belden, MS, who cherish the memory of their mother's nurturing embrace. Also left to honor her memory are her sisters, Loreann Hinton of Aberdeen, MS, Lillie Bell Ransom of Okolona, MS, and Elizabeth Jean Hinton of Aberdeen, MS, along with her niece, Angie Ivy of Athens, MS.
Mary's journey was not without its challenges, as she also mourned the loss of her son, Anthony Ashley, and her brother, Nathaniel Hinton, Jr. Their memories live on in the hearts of those who loved them. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Nathaniel Hinton and Mary Riggins, who laid the foundation of love that Mary carried throughout her life.
A memorial service to celebrate Mary F. Hearn’s life will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Belle Memorial Funeral Home, located at 216 Hwy 25 South, PO Box 129, Aberdeen, MS 39730. The service is set to begin at 2:00 PM, with friends and family coming together to honor a remarkable woman who touched so many lives.
Mary will be remembered for her kindness, her laughter, and her steadfast dedication to her family and community. Her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
