Lemon "JunePot" Young, Jr., 86, known to his loved ones as "JunePot". He made his transition on December 12, 2023, in Deatsville, Elmore County, Alabama.

Born on February 21, 1937, in the small town of Una, Mississippi, Lemon was the beloved son of the late Lemon Young, Sr. and Josephine Ivy.  Lemon was also preceded in death by his wife, Christine Edmond - Young.

Lemon's enduring legacy lives on through his children. He leaves behind three sons: Tony Young, Terry Young, and Trent Young. Each son carries within them the wisdom passed down from their father and will undoubtedly honor his memory through their own actions and accomplishments.

In addition to his sons, Lemon is survived by two daughters: Leslie Washington and Nakisha Keys. Lemon's love for his daughters knew no bounds. He was a guiding light in their lives and a source of unwavering support.

Lemon's life touched those who were fortunate enough to know him. He created lasting impressions that won't fade with time. His warm smile and gentle demeanor had a way of making people feel welcomed and loved.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the Belle Memorial Funeral Home located at 216 Hwy 25 South in Aberdeen, Mississippi. Visitation will take place on Saturday, December 16, 2023, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at Belle Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Aberdeen, MS. The service will begin at 11:00 AM, with the opportunity for loved ones to gather and offer their final farewells.

As we bid farewell to Lemon, let us remember him not for his departure but for the remarkable life he lived. Let us celebrate a life that was filled with love, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to family and friends.
