L D Meadows

 L D Meadows, 88, born on February 1, 1936, in Sulligent, Lamar County, Alabama, departed this life on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at Diversicare in Amory, MS. 

A devoted man, L D is survived by his sons Geoffrey Dilworth, Shawn Dilworth, and Darryl Dilworth; as well as his daughters Keisha Dilworth and Jacqueline Ivory. These five children carry forward the legacy of love and dedication that L D instilled in his family during his lifetime.

L D was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Anna Jean Meadows, whose memory he cherished deeply. He was also preceded by his parents, Andrew Meadows and Evie Dunlap, who provided him with the foundation of values that he passed on to his own children.

L D’s life will be honored through a Visitation service at Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church, located at 501 108th Street in Amory, MS, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Friday, November 29, 2024. This will be followed by a Celebration of Life service at the same location, scheduled to begin at 1:00 PM on Friday, November 29, 2024.

His impact on those who knew him will be remembered fondly, reflecting a life well lived, marked by love for his family and friends.
