Kimberly Irene Townsend

Kimberly Irene Townsend, 46, a beloved daughter, sister, wife, and mother, passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at Baptist Calhoun Nursing Home in Calhoun City, Mississippi. Born on October 6, 1978, in Tupelo, MS, Kimberly's spirit and love for life were evident from a young age.

She is deeply mourned by her loving husband, Chester Townsend; and her cherished daughter, Kinsley Townsend. Kimberly's parents, Alvin Ford and the late Tamar Wofford provided her with unwavering support and guidance throughout her life. She is also survived by her brothers, Jamel Wofford, Zach Wofford, Teon Satterwhite, Yancey Satterwhite, and Derrick Bean, who have always shared a bond of camaraderie and strength with Kimberly. Her sisters, Jatara Dunlap, Mary Ford, and Amanda Satterwhite, will forever hold dear the memories of their time spent together, as well as the deep sisterly love they shared.

Although she faces her final resting place without her beloved mother Tamar and her brother Justin Wofford, Kimberly's legacy will continue through those who knew and loved her.

Family and friends are invited to honor and celebrate Kimberly's life during the visitation at the Church of the Living God, located at 407 N. Spring Street, Tupelo, MS, on Friday, May 30, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life at the same church on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 12:00 PM.. These gatherings will be a time to reflect on her warmth, kindness, and the profound impact she had on everyone around her.

Kimberly Irene Townsend will be profoundly missed, but her love and spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of her family and friends.
