Interment: Houston Cemetery
He is survived by 1 son, Joe Welch, 2 daughters, Teresa W. Johnson and Pamela Welch, 2 brothers, Jessie J. and David W. Welch, and 3 sisters, Lillie R. Mays, Janie Petty, Vardaman, and Mary Carter, and 8 grandchildren
