Jettie Mae Daniel was born July 12, 1955 to the late Monroe Daniel, Sr. and Sarah Lee Anderson Daniel in Monroe County. Without the permission of family and friends, Jettie Mae Daniel answered the Master's call. She departed this life November 3, 2011 at Baptist Memorial Hospital.

Jettie Mae attended Foster's Beauty College in Ripley, MS where she graduated with honors and received her cosmetology license. Jettie Mae did not bear any children but was a mother to many. Jettie Mae accepted Christ into her life at an early age, and joined Pilgrim Rest MB Church, where she remained until death.

Jettie Mae was preceded in death by her mother, father, two brothers; Roy Lee Daniel and James Harold Thompson; three sister; Lonia Mae Daniel, Katherine Cratic, and Berniece James: thee nephews; Jimmy Betts and Kelvin James of Chicago, IL, and Frank Carruthers III of Madison, WI.

She leaves to cherish in her memory: seven sisters, Annie Mae Carruthers, Anniece Davis, both of Madison, WI, Georgia Allen(Delmus III), of Aberdeen,MS, Maxine Johnson (David), of Prairie,MS., Evelyn Brown(Aaron), of Columbus,MS, Teresa Walton (Wayne) of Wren, MS, and Joyce Ann Buchanan (Edward) of Aberdeen,MS; seven brothers, Emmitt Daniel, Monroe Daniel, Jr.(Amanda) both of Chicago, IL, Theotis Anderson Daniel, Aberdeen, MS, Morris Daniel of Indianapolis, IN, David Daniel, Dale Daniel(Willie Mae), Jeffery Daniel, all of Aberdeen,MS; one aunt, Gracie Morton, Chicago,Il; one uncle, Elzie Anderson(Katie), of Hamilton,MS ; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
