Jerry Nolan Bullard, 71, a beloved member of the Bruce community, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2026. He was born on September 14, 1954, in Bruce, Calhoun County, Mississippi. A skilled and dedicated mechanic, he retired in 2016 from Tri-State Truck Center in Tupelo, Mississippi, where he earned the respect and admiration of colleagues and customers alike.
Jerry found immense joy in primitive camping, collecting cast iron, and spending time in the great outdoors through hunting and fishing. These hobbies not only brought him happiness but also created lasting memories shared with family and friends.
He is survived by his mother, Helen Mills Bullard, and his loving wife, Teresa Rape-Bullard. He was also a proud father to his children: Jay and his wife Andrea Bullard, Stacy and her husband Randy Smith, Keith and his wife Stephanie Billings, and Ashley Billings.
In addition to his children, Jerry's legacy will continue through his siblings, including Donna Jo and her husband Donnie Britt, Judy and her husband Steven Mosley, and Cheryl and her husband Ricky Byars.
Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Earnest Nolen Bullard; his brother, Sharon Dale Bullard; and his child, Gen Bullard. The outpouring of love and support during this difficult time is a testament to the impact Jerry had on all who knew him.
As family and friends gather to honor his memory, they will remember him not only for his mechanical talents but also for his generous spirit and zest for living life to the fullest. Jerry will be dearly missed but forever cherished in the hearts of those who loved him.
