Irma Yvette Nickson - Jones

Irma Yvette Nickson - Jones, 61,  born on August 27, 1964, in Ypsilanti, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 9, 2026, in Tupelo, Lee County, Mississippi. She was a cherished mother, loving wife, and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant at Comfort Care, where her compassion and nurturing spirit alleviated the suffering of many.

Irma’s legacy is carried on by her beloved husband, Andre Jones, and her three devoted children: Christopher Nickson, Rebecca Miller, and Matira Nickson. Together, they remember her as a source of unwavering support, love, and encouragement throughout their lives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Wordly Nickson and Pinkie Rebecca Foard, who raised her to be the caring individual that so many admired.

The community is invited to honor Irma's memory. A visitation will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Belle Memorial Funeral Home, located at 216 Hwy 25 South, PO Box 129, Aberdeen, MS 39730. Following the visitation, a Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Baptist Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 10024 Baptist Grove Road, Prairie, MS 39756.
