Service: 1 p.m. - Monday, August 27, 2018 at Belle Memorial Funeral Home in Aberdeen

Geraldine was born in Monroe County, Aberdeen, MS on October 3, 1954. The daughter of the late Deatrice Smith and Lillie Mae Tarver Smith and adopted parents of the late Eddie and Mable Smith Carlisle.

Geraldine was a member of Athens United Methodist Church, where she was a faithful member until her health failed. Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Alice Faye Smith Carlisle, Louise Smith Carlisle Motton, and one brother, Ollie Carlisle.

Geraldine leaves to cherish her memory, three sisters, Fannie Mae (Woodrow) Williams of Columbus, GA, Vinnie Blanchard of Aberdeen, and Arlillian (Mack) Danner of Nettleton, MS and one aunt, Virgie Lee James of Aberdeen.
