Frank James Walker, Sr., 76, passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Diveriscare - Amory, Mississippi. Born on October 20, 1949, in Gibson, Mississippi, he cherished his roots and lived a life marked by hard work and dedication.
Frank spent his career in upholstery, proudly contributing his skills at United Furniture, where he was well-respected among colleagues and customers alike. His craftsmanship and attention to detail shone through in every project, reflecting his passion for the art of upholstery.
He leaves behind a loving family who will carry his memory in their hearts. Frank was born unto his father, Roosevelt Walker, and mother, Lizzie Blanchard. He is also survived by his two sons, Frank Walker, Jr., and Ulysses Walker, who continue his legacy. Frank's rich family ties extend to his brothers: Roosevelt Walker, John Walker, Larry Walker, Charles Walker, Wonder Walker, and Willie Joe Walker. He shared an equally strong connection with his sisters, Wilma Jean McMillian, Bobbie Walker, and Joann Calvert.
A visitation will be held in honor of Frank on Sunday, November 9, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Belle Memorial Funeral Home in Aberdeen, Mississippi, followed by a Celebration of Life beginning at 1:00 PM at the same location. Frank James Walker, Sr., will be remembered not only for his contributions to his profession but also for the love and dedication he showed to his family. His memory will live on in the stories shared and the lives he touched throughout his journey.
