Earnestine Johnson, 70, of Aberdeen, Mississippi, passed away on August 29, 2026, at Saint Francis Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. She was born on November 22, 1955, in Aberdeen, Monroe County, Mississippi.
Earnestine will be remembered as a devoted woman whose life reflected faithful service in both her work and her church. She worked as a janitor with Robinson Janitorial, carrying out her responsibilities with dedication. Among the accomplishments that brought her special pride were her roles as a church usher and as a member of the Kitchen Committee, where she served with care and commitment.
She was preceded in death by her father, Eddie Hogan, and her mother, Annie Elizabeth McMillian.
Earnestine leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Teresa Reid and Accietra Johnson. She is also survived by her brothers, James, Clarence, and Anthony Johnson, and by her sisters, Debra Broadus and Evelina Almo. May her memory remain a blessing to all who knew and loved her, and may the love of family and friends bring comfort in the days ahead.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 4, 2026, from 5:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Belle Memorial Funeral Home, 216 Hwy 25 South, PO Box 129, Aberdeen, MS 39730. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Daniel Missionary Baptist Church, 1516 South Matubba Street, Aberdeen, MS 39730. Burial will take place at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, 515 MS HWY 8 West, Aberdeen, MS 39730.
