Dorothy Faye Douglas,86, born on June 25, 1939, in Chickasaw County, MS, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, in Vardaman, Calhoun County, MS. Dorothy lived a life filled with love, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to her family.

She is survived by her beloved sons, James Ray Douglas and Robert L. Douglas, and her cherished daughters, Anita Douglas and Diane Jennings. Dorothy's legacy will continue through her loving children, who carry forward her spirit and values.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Jones (father) and Modell McKinney (mother). The impact she made on her family and friends is profound, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Services to honor and celebrate Dorothy’s life are scheduled for Saturday, January 17, 2026. The visitation will take place at Belle Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce, MS, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The Celebration of Life will be held at Midway Missionary Baptist Church in Vardaman, MS, beginning at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 18, 2026.
