Donovan LaShawn Blevins

​​"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."  Revelation 21:4

​Donovan LaShawn Blevins, was born July 2, 1990, in Amory Mississippi, to Danny and Dinah Blevins.  He departed this life on February 24, 2018.

​He accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior at an early age at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, Hamilton, MS.

​Donovan was a 2009 graduate of Hamilton High School, Hamilton, MS.  He attended Itawamba Community College, Fulton, MS. where he majored in Art.  Later, he decided to choose a career in the United States Armed Forces(Army).  He was stationed at Ft. Benning Georgia.  He served his country for seven years.  His favorite past time was playing basketball and drawing.

​He's preceded in death by his grandparents, Bobby and Pecola Blevins, and D. W. Clark.

​Donavon leaves to cherish his memories: parents, Danny and Dinah Blevins, Sr., of Hamilton, MS;  sister, Shawanda(Chris) Rice, of Aberdeen, MS.;  brothers, Danny Gene Blevins, Jr., and David Anthony Blevins, both of Hamilton, MS.;  grandmother, Elva Clark of Hamilton, MS.;  grandfather, Silas Wells, of Chicago Heights, IL.;  aunts, Barbara Smith, Virginia (Jeff) Chapman;  Elizabeth Wilson; Maria Crawford; Milissa Melendez; Lowanda  (Russell) Butler;  Sevena Wells; Serena (Michael) Adkins;  Senise Wells;  Veronica Wells and Tomkea (Randy) Burkes;  uncles, Larry (Henrietta) Blevins and Willie Blevins; niece, Drucilla Blevins ; nephew, Datavious Rice; two special cousins, Christian Butler and Beau Butler; and a host of cousins and friends.
