Mr. David James, Sr. died on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 @ home.
Services will be held Saturday, July 14, 2012 @ New Hebron MB Church @ 11 am on Egypt Road in Aberdeen.
Burial will be in the New Hebron Church Cemetery
Mr. James was a deacon, supt of Sunday School, Sunday school teacher, veteran of WWII, chairman of the fellowship committee and retiree of Walker Manufacturing of 25 years
The Survivors include 2 sons Michael James- Aberdeen and Willie Buckingham(Stone Mt., GA)
3 daughters- Marilyn Hawkins (Witchita, TX), Linda Merhundrew(Robert) and Loretta Cox (Willie), 1 sister- Essie Chandler (Albany, NY), 24 grandchildren, 39 great grand children, and 9 great-great grandchildren
