Darren Mitchell Nickson, 59, a treasured member of our community, passed away on Friday, May 23, 2025, in Tupelo, MS,. Born on October 12, 1965, in Michigan, Darren was known for his warm spirit and unwavering commitment to those he loved.

Darren is survived by his beloved daughter, Latasha Edwards, and his cherished siblings, one brother and two sisters. His memory will forever be enriched by their love and support. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Wordly Nickson, and his mother, Pinkie Rebecca Foard. Their influence helped shape Darren into the compassionate person he became.

Friends and family are invited to gather for a visitation at Baptist Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Prairie, MS, on Sunday, June 1, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
