Brandon Antione McMillian, 31, who is affectionately known as "Bam", passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi. Born on October 7, 1994, in Amory, Monroe County, Mississippi, Brandon’s journey touched the lives of those around him with his integrity, warmth, and strong sense of dedication.
Brandon’s formative years were shaped by the love and guidance of his family. He was the cherished son of Johnny Montgomery, who survives him and continues to honor Brandon’s memory with pride. Brandon was predeceased by his devoted mother, Sonja K. McMillian Sykes, whose influence and love remained an important part of his life; and also predeceased by a brother, Anfernee Orr.
Throughout his career, Brandon was employed at United Furniture, where he was known for his reliable and diligent work ethic. Colleagues and friends will remember his genuine kindness, loyalty, and the positive spirit he brought to every day on the job. His presence was a source of encouragement and camaraderie among those who had the privilege to work alongside him.
Brandon’s life was a testament to the value of hard work and the strength derived from family and community. Though his time was far too brief, the memories he created and the lives he impacted endure as a lasting legacy. Those who knew Brandon will remember his gentle nature, his respect for others, and his enduring love for his family.
Brandon leaves to cherish his undying memories: 1 son, Braylon McMillian; 2 daughters, Choyce Robinson and Megan Mays; his father, Johnny (Kierra) Montgomery; 4 brothers, Undra (Nykerria) Hammond, Dejuanta McMillian, Jon'Karius Montgomery, and Kaden Montgomery; 3 sisters, Brittney McMillian (Allatron), Lila Hammond, and Kaayla Orr; grandmothers, Wilma McMillian and Carolyn Montgomery; grandfathers, Willie McMillian and Bobby Joe Spencer; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
A visitation will take place at Belle Memorial Funeral Home - Aberdeen, MS on Friday, July 24, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, offering family, friends, and all who knew Brandon an opportunity to gather in remembrance and reflection. A Celebration of Life service honoring Brandon will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at 1:00 PM at New Life Missionary Baptist Church located at 10893 Darracott Road, Aberdeen, MS 39730.
Brandon Antione McMillian’s life stands as a beacon of perseverance and love. He will be remembered fondly, deeply missed, and forever cherished by family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.
