Annie Mae Shaw, 87,  known for her kind and gentle soul, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024, in Aberdeen, Mississippi. She was born on April 13, 1936, to the late  Abraham and Reabele Lenoir. Annie Mae was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend who touched the lives of many with her compassion and warmth.

Annie Mae will be fondly remembered during two special events held in her honor. The first event, a visitation, will take place on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Belle Memorial Funeral Home located at 216 Hwy 25 South, PO Box 129 in Aberdeen. The visitation will begin at 4:00 PM and conclude at 6:00 PM. It will provide an opportunity for family members, friends, and well-wishers to pay their respects and share cherished memories of Annie Mae.

The second event is the Funeral Service which will be held on Sunday, January 14th at Mount Union Missionary Baptist Church in Aberdeen. The church is situated at 205 MS Hwy 25 South. The service will begin at 2:00 PM with a final farewell to Annie Mae . This solemn occasion reminds us of the impact she made throughout her life and offers solace to those grieving her loss.

Her treasured memories were shared with her late brothers: Mozele Lenoir, Lenzel Lenoir, Earnest Lenoir, and Ned Lenoir. Annie Mae's memory lives on through her children who survive her: R L Shaw (son), Willie Mae McIntosh, Evelyn Lenoir, Dora Cunningham, Ineda Davidson, Lisa Shaw, and Essie B. Deavens (daughters). Each one of them carries a piece of their mother's loving spirit as they navigate this difficult time. Their resilience reflects Annie Mae's unwavering strength she instilled in them.
