Lena Amber Dickson Morgan, beloved daughter, sister, and mother, passed away on October 8, 2023, leaving behind cherished memories and a lasting impact on all who knew her. Born on May 18, 1957, in Grenada County, Mississippi, Amber was a beacon of light throughout her life.

Amber possessed an infectious smile that had the power to illuminate even the darkest of rooms. Her joyful presence brought warmth and comfort to those around her. Not only did she possess a captivating radiance, but Amber also had a voice that could touch Heaven itself. Her melodic singing was a gift that lifted spirits and brought solace to many.

Animals held a special place in Amber's heart. She had an immense love for furry companions and was deeply committed to their well-being. In honor of her passion for animals, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Humane Society or a local animal shelter in Amber's name instead of sending flowers. These contributions will ensure that her legacy of compassion continues to bring comfort to our furry friends.

The memory of Amber's life will be commemorated through a Graveside Service at Red Hill Cemetery in Duck Hill, Mississippi. The service will take place on October 12, 2023, starting at 1:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to gather together to celebrate the remarkable existence of this extraordinary woman.

Amber leaves behind her two devoted sons, Matthew Morgan and David Allen Morgan. Their lives were touched by their remarkable mother's love and kindness, which will forever shape their paths forward. Additionally, she is survived by her brother Robert Allen Dickson.

Amber is predeceased by her father Don Dickson, her mother Vivian Blakely Dickson, as well as her two brothers,  Roy Edwin Dickson and Don Morris Dickson. Though they have departed this world before her, their memories shall forever remain etched in the hearts of those who loved them.

Amber's departure from this earthly realm leaves a void that can never be filled. However, her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. As we mourn her loss, let us also rejoice in the beautiful memories she has left behind.
