Allene Miller

Allene Miller, beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away on October 16, 2023, in Calhoun City, MS. She was born on March 29, 1931, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Allene's passing has left a void that will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved her. 

Allene's life will be celebrated through various services. The visitation will take place on Friday, October 27th, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Belle Memorial Funeral Home located at 138 E Washington Street in Bruce, MS 38915. An additional viewing will follow the next day on Saturday, October 28th from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Jackson Chapel MB Church situated at 103 Evers Drive in Bruce. The funeral service will commence at Jackson Chapel MB Church on the same day starting at 1:00 PM.

Allene's kind and gentle spirit touched the lives of many, and she will be remembered for her warmth and compassion. Ms. Miller was a devoted daughter to her late parents Willie Jennings, Sr. and Jennie Pearl Buchanan. Their memory will forever thrive in the hearts of those who loved her dearly.

Left to cherish Allene's memory are her loving children: Her daughters, Patricia McCutchen, Camille Miller and Carolyn Duffy; son, Mickey Miller and the deceased Robert Miller, Jr and Shirley Miller. Allene shared a deep bond with each of her children and played an integral role in their lives. Her unwavering love and support will forever guide them.

Allene was also a dear sister to Willie Jennings, Jr., Jimmy D. Jennings, Lonnie Jennings, Andre Jennings, and C. W. Jennings (brothers). Despite life's ups and downs, Allene maintained a close relationship with her brothers throughout the years. They brought both joy and comfort to one another. 

In addition to her siblings, she is survived by her beloved sisters: Annie Lee Wortham, Morene Taylor, Mary Holmes, and Ada Noble. She shared loving memories of her deceased sisters: Irene and Beauty B. The sisterly bond they shared was unbreakable, and Allene held their presence close to her heart.

Allene Miller was a pillar of strength for her family, friends, and church members. She touched the lives of many through her kindness and generosity. Her legacy will continue to resonate in the lives of those she leaves behind.

As we pay tribute to Allene's life, may we find solace in the memories we shared with her. Let us remember her infectious laughter, her unwavering love and her nurturing nature. Allene's spirit will always be present within our hearts for years to come.
